About Larimar:
Often called the “Caribbean Gemstone,” Larimar is one of my favorite gems to work with. Its natural variations in blue, often streaked with white, mimic the sunlight dancing beneath the turquoise waters surrounding St. Thomas. Natural red or dark markings are common and are caused by traces of copper. Found only in the Dominican Republic, Larimar is considered a semi-precious stone by the Smithsonian Institute, and is valued for its beauty and calming, healing qualities
